Houston, Texas - July 13, 2013 - Thornwood Gallery's ArtHouston 2013 opening reception will be on Saturday, July 13, from 6-8 pm. In addition to the opening reception, Thornwood Gallery will also be hosting an all day event with an array of artist talks, demonstrations, Q&A sessions, and refreshments throughout.

Cocktails will be provided by Bombay Sapphire. The Bombay Sapphire World Bazaar is a journey in which guests will enjoy the hands-on creation of imaginative cocktails. Bombay Sapphire Gin will be serving three unique cocktails, each which highlights one of the botanicals found in the Bombay Sapphire gins.

Also, our friends from the wonderful Mi Cocina restaurant will join us from 4 - 7, serving some of their amazing hand crafted bites, not to mention their legendary Mambo Taxis®

This event is free and open to the public. We encourage new and seasoned art collectors alike to join us for this event. It is a great opportunity to hear firsthand accounts from the creators of the art we represent.

1:00 pm - Tommy Nienaber, Pat Moberley Moore, and Joe Incrapera will be giving a joint lecture, as well as taking questions, about the processes of stone, bronze, and wood sculpture. Sculptural demonstrations will be taking place as well.
